We test electrical and non-electrical systems, operating equipment and work equipment.
The testing of portable electrical equipment and the testing of stationary electrical systems in accordance to DGUV regulation 3 may only be carried out by a specialist who is authorized to test in accordance to the technical regulations for operational safety (TRBS 1203).
During the DGUV inspection, also known as the VDE inspection, electricians check the electrical components such as switches, sockets, plugs and cables for function and safety. For example current, voltage and resistance are measured to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled.
After successful check, the tested components receive a seal of approval and a report is created.
Tests usually have to be repeated at certain intervals. This can vary between 3 and 24 months.
